The end of the school year is a great opportunity for our school community to come together and celebrate the achievements of our students in the joyful atmosphere of the upcoming holidays. As every year, we could admire a beautiful performance prepared by students and teachers, which was the culmination of their hard work all year long. All students received their end of year school reports, which were presented this year by our special guests: Randwick City Council representative, Cr. Rafaela Pandolfini; the President of the NSW Federation of Community Language Schools, Mrs Lucia Johns; former president of NSWFCLS and founder of our school, Mr. Albert Vella. Selected students were also recognised with special awards presented by the Vice Consul of the Republic of Poland, Mrs. Monika Śpiewak; Member of Parliament for Coogee, Dr. Marjorie O’Neill, and the founder and long-time president of TPSS, Mr. Zbyszek Sobota.

This year marks a significant milestone in our school’s history, as we enter the 20th year of The Polish School of Sydney’s successful operation. It was wonderful to hear Mr Vella and Mr Sobota reflect on this important occasion.

After the official part, all our guests were invited to enjoy some delicious refreshments, and the gelato cart, as well as Santa’s visit, are a tradition that has become a permanent attraction at our school.

We would like to thank everyone who came to this wonderful celebration. We wish you all a relaxing and safe summer holiday!
