On Saturday 31 October we moved our classes outdoors and went on an excursion to Sydney Taronga Zoo. It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to bond within their groups and to have some fun but also a great educational activity where children got to talk in Polish about different animals, their distinctive features and habitats. It was wonderful to see all of our students, from Preschool to High School, actively and cheerfully participating in this experience. As a result of this project our students also created a small dictionary about animals in Polish. We are amazed what a fantastic job they all have done.
We would like to express our gratitude towards the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Sydney for fully sponsoring this unique event. It was a truly memorable day for our school community.
