Congratulations to our outstanding students who have been recognised for their efforts and commendable approach to learning Polish this year.
Nella Tupou from Year 4 is the recipient of the 2023 Consul General’s Award. Nella is a diligent student, who demonstrates an outstanding attitude towards Polish language studies. She also particularly cares about her Polish identity, cultivates Polish traditions and customs and proudly demonstrates her heritage in the Australian environment.
Zosia Roszkowski was a recipient of the Dr Marjorie O’Neill MP – Member for Coogee – Social Impact Award. This award is presented to a student who has shown outstanding commitment to their classmates, their school and their community. Zosia is a student who has displayed an understanding and appreciation of civic responsibility, has proven to possess great strength of character and the courage to do what is right. This award celebrated and promotes bold citizenship within the school and wider community.
The Principal’s Award of The Polish School of Sydney is a form of acknowledgement of all the hard work, extra effort and commitment to learning the Polish language. This year this special award was presented to Elke Aarons, a student, whose enthusiasm and positive approach to studying Polish and promoting Polish culture are not only consistent, but also truly inspirational to us all. Elke is well-mannered, hard-working and always keen to participate in class and school activities.
