The Reading Buddies program, launched last year, quickly won the hearts of all its participants, so we were delighted to resume the meetings between our youngest students and their older buddies. Through reading together, children discover that learning Polish can be both meaningful and enjoyable. Everything is better when shared, and reading in Polish becomes even more engaging and fun. The Reading Buddies program is about much more than books. It is also a wonderful opportunity to build relationships between students, strengthen connections, and develop communication skills. Older students learn responsibility and what it means to be a positive role model, while the younger children gain support, motivation, and confidence in using the Polish language. We are thrilled to continue this beautiful initiative, which shows that language learning and reading truly go hand in hand and that spending time together brings benefits to everyone involved.
