On Sunday, 29 March 2026, our much-loved annual mushroom picking picnic took place in the picturesque Belanglo pine forest. The warm, sunny autumn day set the perfect scene for a day full of fun, laughter, and community spirit.
We were honoured to welcome Mr Mariusz Stus, Consul of the Republic of Poland in Sydney, whose presence was greatly appreciated. Families and students explored the forest in search of mushrooms, while yabbie-catching contests by the water added extra excitement for all ages.
Traditional Polish food, shared meals, and lively conversation created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. We extend heartfelt thanks to all staff and volunteers who helped organise and run this joyful and memorable event. See you all next year!
